Tom went to a party at Laser Quest, Trafford Centre, this weekend, something he has done several times before.  He was a little surprised however to find that they now offer for their parties Subway sandwiches rather than the pizza as part of the deal.  Unfortunately these didn't go down so well with the kids.  One boy was perturbed by the amount of salad on them, several by the amount of mayonnaise (literally dripping down their arms,) and whilst a few got eaten, most were left uneaten on the platter.  Of course parents hoovered up the remains but it seemed a bit of a waste of money to the party host.  Perhaps better to just book a game of Laser Quest and then take all the kids to somewhere in the Traff afterwards, if you could bear traipsing a gang of excited kids about.
